This page explains the process used to evaluate the downloader.
The goal is not to create a “100% working” claim, but to make sure the main functions are checked in a consistent way.
What Do We Evaluate?
Testing is divided according to input type, output, device, browser, and error conditions.
A function is considered to work only when the main flow can be completed as described to the user.
1. Standard Video Links
We test normal public post URLs that are still available.
We check whether:
- the link is recognized;
- media is found;
- results are displayed;
- the file download can be started;
- and the file can be opened.
2. Short Links
We test common TikTok short-link formats.
The goal is to make sure users do not have to change the URL manually.
3. Video
We check whether the video found actually matches the input link.
We do not judge success only by whether a download button appears.
4. MP3
Audio testing checks that:
- output can be created or found;
- the file can be opened;
- and the page does not promise quality that is not available.
5. Photo Posts
We check whether image media can be identified separately from the TikTok interface.
6. Slideshow
We check the number of slides and their order when that information is available.
7. Story
Stories are tested only while they are still active and publicly accessible.
We do not use expired Stories to claim a recovery function.
8. Android
Mobile testing includes relevant Android browsers and the process of finding the file after downloading.
9. iPhone/iPad
We pay attention to the difference between Files and Photos so the guide does not give the wrong file location.
10. Desktop
We test on supported modern desktop browsers.
Error Testing
The system also needs to be tested with inputs that should fail.
Examples include:
- an empty field;
- ordinary text;
- a URL from another site;
- a broken TikTok link;
- an unavailable post;
- unsupported media.
A good error should tell the user what needs to be fixed.
A message such as “Invalid request” without explanation should be avoided when the cause can be explained in more useful language.
We Do Not Change Dates Just to Look Fresh
The “Last tested” date should only change when actual testing is performed.

Test version: [ENTER VERSION]

If a Function Fails
If a TikTok change causes a function to stop working, the related page should be fixed or its claims adjusted.
We prefer to show a real limitation rather than keep a promise that is no longer accurate.
How Can Problems Be Reported?
Users can submit:
- link type;
- device;
- browser;
- error message;
- and steps already tried.
Do not send TikTok passwords or login information.
